Ghostbusters: The Game
I saw Stay Puft when I went to the London MCM Expo and had to snap this photo. So, that’s right folks! Your favourite Ghostbusting team are back in action this Autumn!
Set for release Sept 26th 2008 here in the UK, this game is set for a nice firm place in my “To bloody buy!” list. I have always been such a huge fan of the franchise and Stay Puft is too damn adorable to avoid. The game doesn’t look like it’ll set any new standards here, but if you’re a fan of the series you’re going to have to give this one a go for sure! I can’t wait to see what the achievements will be personally.
And I want to quickly apologise here – Due to me having to pack up and move I’ve not had a chance to really have time to sit down and write out an article for G&G. Things have been totally hectic for me, but this will change soon and I’ll be back in full force with lots of super articles for everyone!

AWESOME!!!!!! Looks like tons of fun! BUT the million dollar question is…Co-op? If it is that would be the icing on th cake !
The game does look interesting, and yeah Co-op on that would be killer. You would think that more games would have a Co-op system as it has become more and more popular

Yeah that bites, but for all of you that play COD the next one will have 4 player online co-op so that will be tight. And you know Gears 2 will have Co-op as well. So at least we do have some to look forward to.
I feel like you are all missing the big picture here. GHOSTBUSTERS!!! Although I will probably not get the chance to play the game, it still looks like it would be fun.

hahah i know that’s why i love the wii….it’s exercise but i’m fooling my body into thinking it’s just fun. pretty genius, really.
but i totally agree with you girls on the co-op business, it makes gaming just that more enjoyable. i was SO bummed when my boyfriend told me you couldn’t split-screen cod4. it’s like….what? inconceivable! we should just all get together and start a new developing company and show ‘em how it’s done! who’s with me?!

Just staying true even to the name… seriously GHOSTBUSTERS!!! plural!! bunch of liars they should call it Ghostbuster! Not one episode of ghostbusters had 1 guy getting the ghosts… Come on even in scary ghost movies ATLEAST 2 people go and check for ghosts not ONE! (guess u can tell i’m disappointed)
I read a bit about Ghostbusters in Game Informer, and where the article didn’t really grab my attention, the franchise always does. I loved Ghostbusters in my youth. I don’t remember much about the movies, but my friends and I spent hours playing Ghostbusters instead of house, and those were hours well-spent. I really think they could do a lot with the game.
I agree Advent I would rather a game be delayed and well developed than rushed to be put on the market and be below its potential…. a perfect example is H3 they delayed it forever but once it came out it was worth every minute of the wait
So is there really not going to be any co-op? Or is that something that might change down the line? That would be so unfortunate.

I am really digging co-op features in games these days. I enjoyed going through Halo and GoW a lot more with one partner (the latter) or several (the former). It was just so much more fun!
yeah Co-op is deffinetely a big maker for these games, both COD5 and Gow2 will have 4 player co-op from what I am hearing
That’s what was really lacking in CoD4 for me. It could have really used co-op. It would have been nice if the first GoW had four player co-op, but two worked just fine for me as well. I’ve probably went through the entirety of that game more times than any other game I own for the 360.
yeah I played the shit out of GOW Co-op the level I hated the worst was when one guy is driving and the other is having to use the light beam to kill the krill..I swear me and my friend played that and were down to the last leg when we made it through*LOL* it was the shit
Oh my God. I hate that so much. There were some tense moments while I was going through that on co-op. Let’s just say that blame was placed on each player multiple times and there was a lot of cursing! It was still fun though.
OOHHH 4-player Coop for GoW2 how nice… ROFL!!! “krill” ohh how i remember that part… that was HARD!! LOL good time though
I am all about the multiplayer.. a game is soo much more fun with a friend or four.. cheer to H3 for making a mark and proving 4 player co-op can be done..
Now if Halo’s campaign could have been longer /story better. But we can’t ask too much, right Smiles? And although I loved Gears of War, they might as well title the next one Gears of War : The Story Never Told.
yeah there was alot of story left out on Gears. But it very well should be interesting with 4 people and the ability to crawl away now when your downed
I think, also, that they will fill in / elaborate a lot. There isn’t much that could ruin GoW 2 for me.
yeah i heard that, that they were going to explain some things that happened but were not explained. It should be very interesting to say the least. looking forward to seeing what kind of improvements they make

i think the 2nd GoW would be awesome if they filled in the story from the first and developed it but I will take great game play anyday of a storyline… so if the GoW2 is AWESOME and the story is still lacking I’m a happy gamer
