I should be shot for making this post sooooooo late! The winner for June was Smiles MD. The Game she chose was Mercenaries 2:World in Flames. I don’t think it has come out yet though. What happened to UT3 or Soul Calibur 4 Smiles??
Our July cycle started 10 days ago and i see Wulf and Smiles are still at it!

Grumble grumble I’ll get you next time smiles, you haven’t heard the last of me(shakes fist in the air–and payback for pushing me in front of the Kodiac won’t be pretty*LOL*)seriously though good job Smiles… I have been wondering about that game so when it comes out you will have to give me your Smiley Report*ROFL* I have already paid for my UT3 so expect the next Rav Report to come out later this week. I know all of you addicts out there…hmmm wait thats just me,smiles and advent right now since no one else is fessing up*LOL* …are just waiting in anticipation for it*ROFL*

Anyone have any recommendations for what I should rent next with Gamefly? This last time I rented GTA IV.

As for game recomendations, what kind of games do you enjoy again besides Viva Pinata
? If you like RPG and you have not tried Mass Effect its well worth it, in my most humble opinion. You know what was a killer game for the xbox that didn’t get alot of attn. Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2. Awesome games to tell the truth, for both single, split screen, and mulitplayer. Army of Two was pretty good for a rental as well.
You’re not the only two in the top four, you know! So . . . hmph. I own Mass Effect. And Bioshock. I also own RSV1&2, Halo 3, GoW, GRAW 1 & 2, Oblivion, The Darkness, Condemned Criminal Origins 1 & 2, NHL08, Lost, Odyssey . . . and others, but I suppose that’s good for now. Haha.
Once again Advent I bow to your wisdom, and pray for guidence*LOL* you are correct, you are now a major player in the elite top 4–and I salute you(raises sword up to eye level and slashes down). Oh I really do own a sword by the way its a Replica of the Roman Gladius. Anywho*LOL* sounds like you have quite the collection. I either own, have owned, or played everyone except NHL 08. Well I don’t think you can count the 20 min I spent on Lost Odyssey as really playing though. What did you think of Bioshock? I have never tried it to tell the truth?
You know what ladies…I am throwing down the gaunlet and issueing a challenge to all of you. Is there anyone that can match me in posts without spamming? I have two legit contenders in Smiles and Advent but I am not seeing anyone else that is ready to step up and take the Rav challenge. Oh I am including all of you Authors as well

Haha. You really should try Bioshock though. It’s a great game. Different and definitely interesting. And lots of fun achievements to get, too!
I also own a sword. It used to hang over the head of my bed. People were a little scared of that. : )
I have a lot more games than that, too. . just felt like they weren’t necessary to mention.
LOL ok Advent I will keep the double posts to a minimum, but I figured I would issue the challenge and see where it goes*LOL* I already have a big post count every month and thats normally just goofing off with the GA*LOL* I do love that term, I think I will use it from time to time. More Kudos for you advent though Smiles gets kudos as well–it was a team effort so I will pat myself on the back as well*LOL* And damn Advent with a sword, the woman can get in your head and cut ya up*LOL* (stands back abit in awe*ROFL*) What kind of sword did you have? mine is hanging near my PC actually, my Battle Axe is above my book shelf, my Flail is above another, and my spear above the doorway*LOL* I will have to try bioshock then if your giving it good reviews. I guess you’d call it a broadsword. My father and stepmother bought it for me for Christmas a few years ago. Let me tell you, they are good with picking out presents. Haha. However, I won’t be able to catch you if I don’t have anyone else to talk to! Since you’re already ahead of me, that is. The girls need to post some more blogs!
Yah yah it was tough decision UT3 passed my mind but Mercenaries is soooooo fun! and the second one is gonna be co-op so i was hooked….

You *forgot,* eh? Haha. I also have a Cherokee bone knife that I like a lot. I’m early in my collecting years, though. Haven’t really had the funds to expand the collection, much.
oh now thats tight, I love bone knives. And I seriously know what you mean about having the funds to further collections. I want to get a long bow and a Sabre or Scimitar to add to my collection.
A long bow would be neat! It would be hard to find one that’s really good craftsmanship though. There are so many shoddy replicas out there.

I get on when other people are hogging my 360. Bah. It’s a good thing I’m nice. If I was mean I’d just keep it in my room and not let my roommates at it. Sometimes having roommates is lame.

I feel that way constantly. I just try to be considerate. I have such a childish “it’s mine i should be able to play it whenever i want you here me mine mine mine” mentality but I try not to let people know about it. I don’t want to fricking blow my top at someone. I don’t know what I will do. I just feel like if something belongs to me I should be able to use it whenever I feel like it. *shrug* Comes from having a brother and having to share all the time. . . I don’t want to anymore, now that I’m a grown up! Haha.
LOL Advent I don’t think we ever totally get out of the Its mine, leave it alone mentality. I still get that way from time to time. Tell me that wouldn’t piss you off though, I mean deep down you would know its not their fault. But the fact that it happened while they were playing instead you would have to really tick you off
I would kill someone. Ahaha. Actually, when I first got my box and I was still in Michigan. . . I let my brother keep it in his room for a while because I was feeling generous. . . and the graphics card crapped out. I had to send it in and was a very unhappy camper for a few weeks. I almost killed him.
OMG I could totally understand that, I wonder if you could get away with a temporary insanity charge*LOL* ITs like you go through different emotions when it happens, the first being shock…”what the hell” followed by a quick religious experence “oh please god oh please not the xbox*LOL*…then anger..” Fing Microsoft can’t make anything right” folowed by more anger when you find out it will be 2-6 weeks to get it repaired and back. ” F’ing microsoft should be paying me for their screw up, now I have to wait 6 weeks to play again”…..and then joy…OMG OMG its in….wooo hooo I can game again..doing one of those crazy dances dope was talking about for unreal but with your xbox
I was seething when it happened, though. I don’t remember the exact emotion, but I had to go ride my bike for like an hour and a half so I wouldn’t punch him in the face. My brother got his own box later on and out of him, my Dad, and I he’s the only one who hasn’t had to send it in. I’ve had to send in twice (both graphics card) and my Dad once (RRoD).
Oh that really has to suck, mine has gone down twice as well. But after the 2nd time I sold it to a friend for $100. and told him if he got it working. And then went and bought another one at Best buy. It went down and I had the 2 year warranty so I just took it in and exchanged*LOL* no hassle no waiting
I just decided that if it went down the 2nd time (which it did) I would not renew my warranty, and I would just buy an elite if I had a 3rd time problem. Haven’t had a 3rd time problem yet, thankfully. I’m not exactly at the point where I can afford an elite yet. :\
Oh my goodness no lie there, I would love to have an elite but not ready to shell out the duckies for it myself. I may be a manager but I sure as hell don’t get paid like some of the others do in my company
You’re telling me. I have a nice degree from a great school and it’s not giving me any extra money-making ability. I might as well have avoided college at this point. Haha. I’m part of this GPT website. This month . . . they are doing a big raffle for their members and one thing they are giving away is 2 xbox360 elites. Maybe if I’m the luckiest person in the world I can win one. Or the big screen TV they are giving away. Hehe.
No lie that would be freakin awesome, can’t go wrong with either one of those prizes. Well I advanced from within my company and when you do that they either give you the base rate of the job you moving into or a 10% raise which ever is higher. So I am at the bottom of the food chain. Sad thing is I run my office and am the 2nd highest paid person there. That just SUCKS

Because my sales rep was hired from outside the company so they paid him a competitive wage, If I had been hired from outside the company I could have made an extra 6K a year but ohhhhh no
I hate it when companies do that. They claim to be loyal to their employees and then they completely ignore what they established in the first place.
exaclty my point, I was soooo pissed when I heard what was being offered. My old boss even put the issue up above my current boss’s head to her boss and the answer was still the same “Corporate Policy” But the good thing is I can do this for a year or so to get the experience I need and then move on to a better paying job.
