GoW2: Weapons of War

Finally some great footage of all the weapons from Gears of War 2. This is my second post in a row about GoW 2 but you could hardly blame me. I can’t wait to get my dirty hands on these weapons and try it out for myself.
I think the flame thrower looks pretty sweet. It doesn’t seem bulky like on Halo 3. It would be cool to be able to run away from it and heal, if the chance does arise.
On another note, if you haven’t checked it out already, Spike TV is looking for the biggest Gears of War fan to get the chance to play the entire game before anyone else does. The deadline is tomorrow (Friday 18th), details are on their official site

OOOHHHHH!!!! LOOKS AWESOME!! however the button mashing for the chainsaw battle is not a feature I am looking forward to.. ewww I’m gonna have to bring back my nintendo style button mashing
I have now seen every video for this game to date, I……..am so excited………I just can’t hide it……..come on come on come on. ya the chainsaw duels arent gonna be to cool especially since they removed temporary god mode cause people somehow exploited it to get multiple chainsaw kills, I for one feel that if you don’t know the right tome to shoot someone when their chainsaw kill ends than you deserve to be chainsawed again, before when I chainsawed someone and his partner was close I expected to die, no I’ll expect to die even if they are far away.
Oh yay, button mashing, my favorite!! I really wish they’d put in some Quick Time events too, where they can go through a series of events and tell me exactly what button to press, and I have to press it at exactly the right time!

HAHA I was sooo thinking about the superfan too! but didnt get to do it in time.. so what did u have to do? send a video or write essay as to why you are the biggest GoW fan?
You just had to fill out this short application about yourself and certain things you liked/experienced with Gears of War and then send it in with an email pitching why you should be chosen. It took me about 20 minutes so I did it, because the inside scoop was that they were looking for more women.
Me too Dope, We can be on the same team. XD, actually as soon as I sent the email i thought it must have been the most generic thing out there and that I totally shoulda put some more thought/creativity into it.
I wish I would have filled it out too! I’d never heard of that until I read this (which was too little too late, heh).
I sooo shoulda done that! BUT I BLAME DOLL!!!! she sends the notice the DAY its due! Literally hours before cut off time. GEEEZ thanks Doll I missed out on a great gaming opportunity… My gosh now imma have to see Advent about some therapy program >:(
