Head over Heels
Head over Heels was a 8bit Puzzle game released on Commodore 64 in 1987.
The game has two characters who eventually join together to solve puzzles. Typically in puzzle games they both have different abilities which will help each charactor progress through the game. Head [the yellow character] can jump twice as high and glide through the air. Heels on the other hand can run twice as fast and carry objects around a room in a bag. The two characters will eventually become one to help solve increasingly difficult puzzles.
I have notched up countless hours with this game already, the puzzle progression will keep you entertained for hours. It maybe a bit bland for some people if they don’t remember the original, but for me personally I’m loving it!

Hmmm.. I have never heard of this game… I’ll have to give it a go although I have never been much of a fan of puzzles
Not many people have heard of this game. I grew up with it, that’s why I remember. It’s a good wee game, probably more fun if you remember it though!
just downloaded it and tried it, kinda cool, It sure doesn’t hold any punches, the first puzzle is rather long and kinda hard.
It was a really difficult game when it first came out – it does test your brain power. I just thought it was difficult as I was playing it when I was about 5 I think. I was wrong, it’s still hard.
It’s a great game though.
No joke, they need to hold your hand through a few puzzles first, you know, get you acquainted with the controls and concepts and all, nope they just throw you into an entire mind boggling puzzle.
That’s why this game is so appealing to me, maybe I just love puzzles. Each to there own I guess
Haha I’ve never heard of it, but it looks so cute! I should try it.
SCORE! I am grabbing this tonite. Thanks for the highlight!
Heh, the really sorted out the graphics. I played this on my Amstrad back in the day, in all it’s fuzzy monochrome beauty. I’ll have to download it, for old times sake.
