  • I really really want to like Fallout 3 but so far it’s not doing it for me. I think once I get further into the game I’ll love it.

Hopefully this will be the same for Mass Effect.

    I hate wasting money.

  • RiotMonster says:

    Nice.

I didn’t think Turok was tooooooo bad but I did expect a lot more… =P

I haven’t played Fallout 3 (since I didn’t play 1 or 2) so idk if it’s bad ass yet. I’ve heard a lot of good though.

  • Doll of War says:

Mass Effect was one of the crappiest games of 07 IMO. I wouldn’t compare Fallout 3 to it. The studio that created Fallout 3 (Bethesda), also were the ones that created one of the best RPG’s for the 360 in 2006. If you were fan of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, chances are, you are open to the experience of what Fallout 3 has to offer. There are so many similarities in the game and i’m sure i’ll be clocking a lot of hours on it, even though i doubt it will be anything close to what i clocked with Oblivion.

Riot, I think you definately need to check Fallout 3 out. I feel like i’m a Bethesda spokes person ATM but there are so many shit RPG’s for the 360, and don’t let me get started on the crappy turn based ones (Lost Odyssey, Enchanted Arms..), it’s good to finally have another great quality RPG.

I don’t think BioShock should be on the list because the release was in 2007. It is however one of my favourite games of all time. What was wrong with Viking: Battle for Asgard? I got a kick out of that game lol.

  • Ace of Gir says:

Doll, you don’t like turn based RPGs? Man, I do. But I loved Disgaea back on the PS2, so I’m probably biased.

I put Bioshock on because it was released for the PS3 this past summer everyone was talking about it, especially because of the new content.

As for Viking, I still can’t beat the last room. I think the game glitches on me because I break all the staffs and nothing happens.

  • Dope Kitten says:

    Soap and apples?

  • Doll of War says:

    Dope; wtf? lol

Ace; After you break all the staffs, you’re supposed to attack Hel. Well she turns into the big monster and you break her down with some button mashing. I don’t remember if you could but is it possible to restart the entire last battle from when you were on the battlefield?

& yea, I hate turn basted RPGs lol. It should have it’s own category. TB-RPG lol

  • Dope Kitten says:

lol Doll…she said mashed potatoes with soap and apples….read!

  • Doll of War says:

haha. My bad. I’m jet lagged so i have a good excuse for forgetting.

  • Skylark says:

What was wrong with Viking: Battle for Asgard?

  • RiotMonster says:

I didn’t play Viking but I remember being totally stoked for it when I heard about it. Then I just heard it was a bad game and a big let down so I never checked it out… Did I miss something?

Also, Doll of War, I really am contemplating playing Fallout 3 =P But yeah blahhhh don’t get ME started on all the shitty RPGs on the 360 haha..

  • Ace of GIR says:

I love Fallout 3. I’m like 100 hours into it and have decided to finish the main quest. There are still plenty of places for me to visit and side challenges, but I want to save them for another play through. And I’m super excited about the DLC in January.

It took me a bit of time to get used to the VATS and whatnot in Fallout, but once I got the hang of it, I love it.

  • zumbum says:

I regard Mass Effect as one of the finest cinematic roleplay experiences available on any console. I’m new and thought I should defend Mass Effect; despite its length it is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. I play games for immersion though, to get lost in the game itself; Mass Effect has a level of immersion like no other. Except maybe GTA.

  • Veronica says:

I felt as if World@War was overrated, 4 was way better. I hear their releasing 6 pretty soon and its from the same makers of 4. Can’t wait! i’ve been dying to play left for dead just havent had a chance yet :(
